From Cornell's All About Birds Website:
A tiny, continuously active bird, the Golden-crowned Kinglet is most frequently found in coniferous woods. Despite being barely larger than a hummingbird, the kinglet winters northward to Canada and Alaska.
Continuously active = hard to get a good shot! This was the best I could do.

Your capture of the Golden-crowned Kinglet is awesome, Kerri. It's clear and crisp.
Small active birds are definitely a challenge to capture.
This made my morning.
I have yet to see one of these but I know we have them here. :)
Hi Kerri, Great capture! I hope to see one of these out here one of these days. John
I do love the birdies. :-)

I've never seen one of these before. Love that touch of black and yellow on his head. Nice catch!
What a sweet little bird!!! I have never heard of that species!!
An awesome shot Kerri.
Beautiful pic, Kerri. I've only ever seen the ruby crowned kinglet and that was only once. I first thought my eye landed on a large dragonfly in motion. They're tiny and adorable and this shot is wonderful.
Such a cute little bird! Strange, though, if they winter up north that you found one around here now!
That is a GREAT shot of this little ball of activity.
Isn't he a cute little thing. Another great photo.
much better than the shots i managed to get last summer! very flitty in amongst the trees! :)
Cute shot of the Kinglet!
gorgeous little sweetie pie
You always do a great job - you really do.
Love that you were able to get the yellow spot on his head.
You did a fantastic job! This had to be hard to get!
lovely photo! Your kinglet is very like our goldcrest (very closely related too i think). I've seen lots of goldcrests over the past year, lovely birds to watch
Beautiful bird! Really pretty!
Thats a great shot - these tiny little birds are so hard to get a shot of.
Thanks for the link to WBW.

PS: sorry for slow reply - I been out of internet range in Tasmania!
Great shot of a beautiful bird. When I see them, they're usually in the very top of a tree, constantly moving and always behind a leaf!
I love the look on his face! As though he's saying "what do you mean I shouldn't be up here?"!!
You rose to the challenge Kerri.
Tiny but splendid
Fabulous photo of such a hard-to-capture bird, Kerri!
came back to say congrats on your POTW!!!
This is such a wonderful photograph.
Beautifully captured!
