Stay, little cheerful Robin! stay,
And at my easement sing,
Though it should prove a farewell lay
And this our parting spring.
Then, little Bird, this boon confer,
Come, and my requiem sing,
Nor fail to be the harbinger
Of everlasting spring.
—William Wordsworth

Many robins in our front yard yesterday. Spring is sprung or sprunging or something like that.
Lovely photograph and poem! I had my first robin sightings of the year a couple of days ago. What a delight! Spring is just around the corner.

Love it. They're still here, but headed out.

Seeing the first robin of the year always makes me happy too. It is snowing horribly here. I don't think I will be seeing a robin too soon. :(
Thank you for sharing yours Kerri!
