About the image: Taken on a very dark morning - 11-16-11 thru a window at ISO 3200. I'm using a Nikon D7000 (A 2010 Christmas Gift from Hubby) and I'm ALWAYS amazed at how well it does on a high ISO.
We have an abundance of doves here at my house - but I never tire of seeing their sweet little faces and listening to the lovely "coo" they make. Click HERE for A link to their sweet voice.

They sure aren't the brightest birds (intellectually or feathering) but they're such gentle beauties. That's very clear for such a high ISO and through glass.

Not more than ten minutes ago my hubby came in where I was on the computer and looked out at our big ole oak tree. He said, the tree is full of pigeons. I calmly corrected him - doves. :)

Nice present from hubby and it certainly takes lovely photos! The light in this is really nice. They always seem like gentle, but sort of dumb birds. I usually have a few around in the summer, but don't see them the rest of the year. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
