Male Widow Skimmers sharing a blade of grass.
I'm told they should be fighting with each other, but perhaps there were no females around.
Wishing you a Wonderful Day - Full of Sharing :)
These photos are just spectacular, Kerri. Do you know what kind of butterflies those are? I keep checking our milkweed for cocoons but so far nothing. We do have butterflies, though, so maybe ours are just a little slower.
Beautiful! I haven't seen frittilaries up here yet. The coneflowers and black-eyed susans and gloriosa daisies are just beginning to blossom, so it won't be long I think.
Spectacular Photography.. Love the wings you have shared here. Does blogger have a wings Wednesday or is that one yours. However it is I like. Im now to blogger and happen to come across an other photographer
Both of these pictures are just wonderful Kerri.... I hope your time will be more relax in few days. It's not really nice when you cannot do your hobbies ;-)

Lovely : )
Don't worry, I'm apparently having a hectic vacation full of cleaning and house guests. Whatever it is, it will eventually pass.
Not only do you manage exquisite singular captures..but now you've caught them in pairs. Excellent!!!
beautiful photos! Blog synchronicity too - i posted a photo of fritillaries yesterday (not so close up though!).

This is just beautiful, you have a way of framing this creatures that only enhances how amazing they already are!
Beautiful pictures.I love the butterflies. Hope your days are not too busy to enjoy nature.
Blessings,Ruth
Two beautiful photos.
The first is a stunning color composition. The Milkweed and the Great Spangled are made for each other.
The Male Widow Skimmers seem to be either praying, fighting or sealing a deal with a handshake.
Splendid work, good job.
Wow, outstanding shots and great captures! Just superb
Such sweet captures!
Again WOW! Both photos are spectacular.
Missed ya lately!! Great pictures - I'll say it again - you must have an amazing garden!!
These images are fantastic, as always Kerri!
Is Wings Wednesday a meme or a part of your own blogging schedule you created? Just curious.

I was so pleased to see your photo chosen over at PW's site for her bug project. Just so pleased!
Beautiful photos, as ever.
I don't know what your secret is - these insects seem to pose for you. Magnificent, Kerri!
Great captures Kerri - stunning colours, as always. Our milkweed still has a ways to go before it blooms - hopefully butterflies to follow.
Stunning images Kerri! The first one belongs in a magazine!
