Deerfield Trail didn't bore me at all!
Kerri, that first shot is breathtakingly beautiful! The colours are incredible.
I could have done without having that spider pointed out though.. I'm still feeling my own hair touch my arms and thinking they're crawling on me!

I saw a special last night about the disappearance of honey bees and it is sad to think that most of the fruit, nuts and vegetables we eat would disappear with them. So governments are busy trying to find the culprit before it is too late and one huge problem is the use of insecticides.
Anyway, I wanted you to know I was here to repay your visit and comment with one of my own. Kind of like "Kilroy" was here... remember those drawings everyone used to make?
I enjoyed reading your blog post for today and I thought the photography was good too.
I recognize all of the butterflies and the spider and yes I saw the two bumblebees. Your photos are really nice.
Great photos. I enlarged them so I could examine every little detail. How could we possibly be bored with Deerfield Trail? It has everything. We hope to see it through your lens all summer and in the changing seasons.

I couldn't get bored with Deerfield Trail. I think I would be walking it frequently if I lived nearby.
As usual, you got a lot of beautiful photographs. I did know the name of that type of spider once, but for the life of me, cannot recall it now.
I need to find my butterfly book too! The yellow one with dark patches may be the Yellow Sulphur, but I cannot guarantee it!

Oh, those are lovely butterflies! I love that first one and see the bee and other bug. That's a sneaky spider waiting in the berries! That is a beautiful place to see stuff! Love the dragonfly...not one that I've seen so far.

Wow great shots. I would not have noticed the bees if youhadn't pointed them out though... too busy thinking how pretty the butterfly was. (A Fritillary?)

I love your photos ...I took a photo of the same butterfly (this one with white and pale yellow colours)in my garden and I don't know his name!

Bored? All this wild life is fascinating to me, I never get tired of seeing the minute details of the little creatures. I'm grateful for your photographs, which freeze them and let us stare at the features.
I love chicory too, especially along country roads with Queen Anne's Lace.

You asked about making your photos larger .. well you need to go look at the WIDE blog templates first and choose one of them .. then when you upload a photo go into the Edit HTML area of the new blog post ... look for the s400 in the HTML of the photo .. change it to s640 and your pix will be BIG
